I love when people tell Jackson he couldn't live with their cat, because yes, yes he could. Because Jackson knows how to live with cats and how to treat them so they don't lash out at him.

I had a cat like that only worse if it's possible. It took a long time to socialize. Either they want to work with him or they don't. That takes weeks of being consistent work, talking softly, letting the cat come to you on its own terms, sometimes just sitting and reading a book quietly in its presence until they start learning to trust. Trust is earned not given. Anyone that saw Betty when I first got her and see her today always says they can't believe she used to be so scary.

Every time we take our ginger cat Kaos for a car ride (vet's office, or mom and dad's), he would get so stressed he poops in the carrier if the trip lasts longer than 5 minutes. And if it takes even longer, he would puke after about 20 minutes and poop again in another 10... We thought maybe he was carsick but perhaps he's just really scared...

Here's a question....how you claim someone hates cats, and the cat picks up on it, when there is a perfectly calm cat sitting right behind them....wouldn't that cat do the same thing if any of that claim was true?

This guy is my dude.  I love him and if there was a Husband I was looking for it would be this guy.  However he must have failures.  I don't want to be a downer but Jackson isn't there one cat that just didn't work out for you?  If not then man you ARE the cat man for sure.  Beyond this I have learned a lot from you.  I adopted a cat from the Humane Society who said that she will never cuddle she is feral which made me want to adopt her even more and prove them wrong, because with them saying this it would put people off on to wanting to adopt her which made me angry.  Granted they have to be honest but at least give the cat a chance by telling people that thru hard work the cat may turn out ok.  I got her and thru hard work, a lot of personal touch and playing she is almost everything I look for in a cat.  Very independent though only wants to cuddle when she wants to but let me tell everyone out there if you put the work into it I  believe that 98% of cats out there are savable.  That is just me though.PS:  Anyone ever seen a video of him playing in the Band?
