I love how the hissing gets less and less enthusiastic and finally disappears altogether. Precious baby

That blink at the end was a good sign of trust

Kittens like "this lady is going to keep touching me every day for a month, I give up." 😅

No matter how much he hisses, he'll always be adorable. Precious little guy... :D

I can't help but admire the fighting spirit of tiny feral kittens. Even before their eyes open they snarl, hiss, and try to bite intruders. 20lbs of fight in an 8oz body. Then we get to earn the tiny warriors' trust. In that perspective it is truly an honor to be trusted by a feral cat.

Kittens universally being ranked on the spicy scale is one of the cutest things I've come across

This kitten is terrified in his cage with no place for him to hide..We have to remember that they are basically wild animals and we have to respect that and learn to understand them in order for them to be happy and to feel safe. The gentleness and patience of this person is commendable.

Those sweet little eyes, so sad and hopeful at the same time.

It’s a great feeling when a feral kitten/cat realizes you’re not gonna hurt them and they begin to accept you and love you. You saved a life. ❤

I love how it looks so relieved to finally let you love it

I love how the hissing just starts to stop as soon as the scratches start. Kitty is like “hey! Go awa… oh… oh that’s nice”

From my experience don't start petting them in the head or neck. Pet them in the back. It's easy to do that when they are eating and it's actually similar to what mom cat do when they feed their kitten.
Gradually they'll let you pet their back even when they're not feeding. Afterwards they'll headbunt your arm themselves once they're comfortable.

Patience is truly a virtue and you are a literal angel sent from heaven the way you love this kitten who without you would suffer ❤

Gotta love how he gradually puts less and less enthusiasm in fighting as it goes on. It's like he comes to the realization of 'Oh, okay. I actually kinda like this.'

I adopted a very scared cat... A month later he barely got better so I was about to give him back but when I had it in the box, I felt this heavy feeling that I was about to abandon a completely defenseless being... I couldn't do it. I promised myself that I would never give up on him. And 4 years later... He's the king of the house ❤
Be patient, just as you would ask for, if it was you on the other side 🙏🏼

I love how it slowly went from swats and big spits/hisses, to just hisses, then _teeny tiny_ growls and nervous looks, to love and sweetness.

I appreciate that there's no generic upbeat music played over all of it.

The little “ they’re gone. “ at the end was so heart warming
