If you want to become friendly with a feral cat, slowly close your eyes and open them, cats do this to show they are comfortable andd not a threat, try doing it to your own cat and they'll blink back at you. I did this, as well as feed ect. a mother cat and her babies and now they're lazy happy indoor cats

Its easy to work with them while they're at that age .
it's a real challenge to build up a relationship with an adult feral cat .

I tamed a feral cat about 7 years ago. It was during a really cold winter, he was strugling to even walk. I brang him to my house using food and a cage. In my house he hid for 2 days. I left him some food. After a week, he trusted me enough to let me approach him. Now he is like any other cat, but better. He is in great shape since he is always outside and is soooo loving, and for everyone. Seriously, if you have the chance to give an animal a home, do it. They become part of the family.

Aww I understand that, I have a kitten at home at the moment who is quite timid, the meowing is real and oh boy does it work! Super cute! Kittens have a way of making full grown men melt into puddles!

It always amuses me to see big, tough-looking guys be gentle with little babies or animals. It just shows that big and tough doesn't necessarily mean that they're mean or nasty, although that still means you don't wanna mess with them.

LOL! That cat sounds like a windup toy going on the fritz. Rof lol lol. Your husband is a pretty cool guy to be so nice to the little cat. I enjoyed the conversation a lot. There's 3 cats that hang out in front of my apartment I'm trying to tame. I managed to get the little calico to take food out of my hand twice, but she's still a little skittish. The other two won't go nearer than 2 feet of me.
