The legal paying subscribers are being targeted again, as Eskom knows that it will never recover the debt that is owed to them nor convince the non paying population to pay for their use of the electrictiy. It would be good for Eskom to unbundle and have open competion.

Our salary don't even increase by that much, how will people survive? You can put that increase if everyone is earning atleast 30% more than what they are this year, because petrol increase, electricity increase, and even food increase

It's a death spiral for ESKOM. The higher the tariff the less people can afford to pay it and the less money collected. Where's the government action on splitting and privatizing ESKOM? Where's Gwede Mantashe action on allowing more private energy production?
