Thanks Angela. I don't recall what video you talked about Librivox but going to try that out before I do ACX. I have a Boya microphone, a laptop, and Audacity for now. Really need to find a stream of income just enough to pay for basic expenses. Currently on unemployment but know that will end. Thanks for your tips. Greatly appreciated!

One more thing...I have to thank you because yesterday I was going to give up on this audio narration idea but got Audacity to work for Librivox. You were the one who motivated me to do this after failing yesterday. I had a microphone already because of my YouTube channel. Now I have my set up. I will try a few projects there before I head on over to acx. I hope I am able to make this a small side hustle at least to cover some expenses.

Hi Angela! This video was incredibly helpful (especially for a newbie Voice Over/Narrator like me!) I really appreciated your closing lines about finding something that you are good at doing, and just... do it! I thought you would be interested in my career. I fell into this during the pandemic, but it's incredibly fun and rewarding. I am a professional puzzlemaker and adventure crafter! I create custom adventures for my clients where I make them feel like they've been dropped into a movie, and they have puzzles to solve and challenges to overcome to get to the grand finale (Could be as simple as dinner reservations, to more complex like a surprise party or even a proposal!) I'm just doing it, and i get to make people feel like the world inexplicably revolves around them for the day.

I'm looking to get into audiobook narration as a hobby/side hustle :) I love reading (total book nerd!), and I feel like this will fit perfectly in my life between the adventures I create (which could have months between projects)

I just want to say thank you for making these videos, you are an invaluable resource to those looking to get into this work, and I really appreciate everything that you do :)
