The motion of the hip joint.

The hip joint is one of the most active joints in the human body and is designed for many different types of movement.

It has three main axes which allow movement in all three degrees of freedom. All axes go through the rotational center of the hip joint.
Abduction—Sideway movement of the leg away from the midline of the body
Adduction—Inward movement of the leg toward the midline of the body
Flexion—Forward bending or lifting of the leg toward the body
Extension—Backward extending of the leg away from the body

But did you know that your feet directly influence this joint?

Malposition of the feet can cause overstraining and increased cartilage wear, and lead to osteoarthritis

An imbalance with the eye muscles can lead to a leg length discrepancy, affecting the hip joint.

An imbalance with feet and eyes can offset the femoral head, lead to a limited range of motion, and impact your entire spinal cord.

Do you suffer from hip pain?
