The fact that this jury sent a note to the judge basically saying, what do we do if were deadlocked, on the 1st day of deliberations. Apparently, this jury doesnt understand what jury deliberation is. Also, the fact that they asked to hear witness testimony for a witness that didnt even exist🤦🏻‍♀️ What a damn shame. I think they were more concerned with eating lunch and going home ffs.

I’m from GA but live in Los Angeles.

Just did a two week fraud case in Feb and we deliberated for three and a half days. One juror (who ended up having a friendship with defendants husband and didn’t tell anyone) held us for three days, so was declared a mistrial. Frustrating conversations.

If the jurors are asking who is “Courtney Sutherland” I believe yes, a mistrial is the best option to bring in a more mentally competent juror. I also believe a new prosecutor is needed. She did not match melly’s lawyer expertise & energy. It says a lot when someone is guilty, and they have one hell of a defense team.
