One of the prosecutors involved in the XXXTentacion murder trial has been named the lead prosecutor in the double murder case against YNW Melly. Alixandra Buckelew replaced Kristine Bradley after a judge pulled Bradley off the case due to her alleged involvement in a scheme to cover-up the lack of credibility of the state’s main witness in Melly’s first trial. The Law&Crime Network’s Elizabeth Millner explains what happens next.

Y'all know what's crazy....the defense team basically just shot themselves in the foot. They were so adamant about getting the original prosecutor off the case only to now have to face a bulldog this woman is a beast. Like the saying goes they should have left well enough alone. All that yelling Melly attorney like to do won't intimidate this woman. Mellys only hope is to get another juror that's a fan and don't care about the evidence.

Bradley actually made a great case. There was only a mistrial because one juror refused to even entertain a guilty verdict. I don’t think the new prosecutor will be able to present the case much better and now has the added responsibility of explaining the detective’s and previous prosecutor’s behavior. I think Melly is guilty but I think the defense is in a much better spot then they were in the first trial.

i hope this prosecutor is more professional than her predecessor. Guilty or not, everyone is entitled to a fair trial
the last prosecutor was very childish and unprofessional. when law enforcement try to break the law then they're just joking smh

I was actually praying for her and Achille to take the case. Way more class, far more professional, and stylish than Bradley🤷🏾‍♀️

It's sad when the "State" is as dirty as they claim the defendants to be. This case should be thrown out. No matter anyones feelings on guilty or innocent.
