I traded in my s24 ultra for my pixel 9 pro XL. No complaints so far. I love the UI and the camera. The camera is much better at capturing moving subjects. The S24 ultra was pretty bad at that.

I like the Pixel 9 Pro, but I’m disappointed that you’re only highlighting the pros and avoiding the cons because this is a sponsored video. I also feel you're giving misleading information. For example, you mentioned the 9 Pro has 16GB of RAM, but you didn’t clarify that 'Google's Pixel 9 Pro models only allocate 13GB RAM for apps, ' with the rest reserved for AI features. So, the actual increase is from 12GB to 13GB, not 4GB, as viewers might assume. Additionally, you said the G4 CPU is super fast, but why didn’t you benchmark it against the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 or Apple’s A17 Pro? It’s because, in multi-core benchmarks, Snapdragon and Apple are at least two years ahead. I believe you should be honest with your viewers instead of accepting money to provide misleading information. I'm very disappointed.

1099 for ufs3.1 128gb outdated soc that’s at least 2 gens behind.
If this was 900 ok but charging premium for midrange hardware makes no sense and should be pointed out more often.
5000mah battery with a lower clocked soc and battery is still 2 hours behind the competition.
The screen is dope though no complaints!!!!
It seems very optimized too that’s a good one.

With all the profuse thanking of Google for sponsoring the video/trip to their event throughout the video, the credibility of the review takes a major hit. And, indeed, this looks more like a Pixel 9/9 Pro XL infomercial rather than a proper review. One negative that some other reviewers mentioned, for example, is the fact that the videos are soft on the Pixel 9s, even compared to the previous version, which this review fails to mention.

Google’s current AI-focused approach to mobile photography is a strategic misstep. While their software capabilities are commendable, they are fundamentally constrained by the limitations of current mobile hardware. Rather than doubling down on AI, Google should prioritize hardware advancements and refine their existing camera features. This would enable them to compete more effectively with Chinese manufacturers who have excelled in this area

a certain amount of ram is exclusively isolated for ai, probably about 4gb. don't think there's any increase in usable system ram, from what i've read.
