I heard a Catholic say Satan is more afraid of Mary than God. That was all I needed to hear to turn the other way. I've read the marian prayers, remove the name Mary and add the name Jesus and people would say its worship. Words are practically the same. I've read many of them and they are too much for me.

I heard a guy say that he first called on Santa Muerte (a growing cult) when he felt he couldn’t call out to God because he felt God would be angry and disappointed. This reminds me of people going to Mary because God is too scary.

It is interesting to note that apart from the 4 gospels, Mary is never mentioned anywhere in the epistles and writings of the apostles. If the beliefs about Mary are so important as the Catholics say they are, you would at least expect Paul or Peter to mention them.

I feel sympathy and heart break for the billion people who follow this religion. I pray that they will awake from their slumber and see what is going on around them.

Mary would be appalled at what people have made her. An idol. God shares his glory with no one.

Jesus said more about Mary Magdalene than he did about his mother. When she anointed the feet of Jesus, He said that she would be remembered wherever the gospel was preached because of it. Wasn't she the first one Jesus appeared to after the resurrection. Catholicism likes to read a lot of things into their teachings. Mariology desecrates the position of Jesus Christ and His sacrifice.

I might suggest getting a copy of The City of God by Mary Agreda, then maybe y’all can get a better understanding of Mary. I’m not even Catholic but I adore Mary. Scripure tells us that only after Mary gave birth, did Joseph "know" her.In other words Mary and Joseph had a sex life.For those who say she didnt have other children, scripture tells us Jesus was her "first born son".
