My brother died unexpectedly, and it was the most traumatizing thing I have ever been through. We lived together so we spent much of our time together. To see someone full of life and then see them in a casket looking artificial. I will never get over it.

I lost my mom 4 months ago and it was so strange I talked to her and then she died in her sleep that night. I will always be thankful that I didn't have to watch her die slowly but I regret not being able to say goodbye. So always let the people who you love know how much you love them because you don't always get that chance to say your final peace.

I have ms, chronic calcified pancreatitis. Am now dependent on a feeding tube to survive. Been dealing with the possibility of my own death. Almost died 14 months ago I was down to 74lbs. My new dr ordered the jtube in my nose. I am now 94lbs. Still feel it. I am just making sure my husband of 26 years will be ok. I am 62. I still love life even if I never feel good. Blessings to everyone

I lost my dad in February to AML which is a very aggressive leukemia that takes the lives of the young and old. My dad served for 26 years in the military retiring as a major. It’s still so painful. A week before he passed I asked him about his thoughts about hospice and he said “but that means that there is nothing left”. The only time I ever saw my father afraid so when a week later I had to sign the hospice paperwork because he has severe pneumonia and his chemo had to be stopped as that was killing him faster. I told him that I was so sorry but I made sure he knew what was happening. It wasn’t fair to him to sign the paperwork and act as if we were trying to save him as he was well past the point of no return. I was afraid he would be mad and he wasn’t. He smiled and said it was ok. That morning when I signed the paperwork he was at his moist alertness of his admission in weeks but his skin was cold and ashen. I worked in healthcare as a medic and respiratory therapist and I knew death was imminent. I went home about an hour later as I had a doctors appointment down the road. I was called back to the hospital around 3pm for the death watch. He was unresponsive I signed the paperwork for hospice at 10am and he died at 7:44pm the same day. It was that fast. I’ve seen death of all nature’s other than drowning. Probably a few hundred and I wasn’t working during COVID-19 due to health issues. Tell your family you love them. Every day as you don’t know which day will be the last.

My mother passed when she was 58, my dear father died when he was 67, my sister at 56 and my wonderful son at 40. My husband committed suicide at the age of 49. My brother and my eldest son and I are the only ones left of our family. Death? I've experienced more than my share!

I lost my husband 2 weeks ago. He was sick for so many years. The last month of his life he did a lot of strange things like things u would do to prepare when u die cancel Bill's for example. Well he must have thought it was coming but I didn't catch on. And now I wonder if he knew and he just didn't want me to worry. If he did know and didn't tell me it makes me sad because he must have been so scared. We r both very young and we knew we would never grow old together. But we lived every day to the fullest. I love u Bryon. Hope u r having fun in your new healthy body. I'll c u again.

My mom unfortunately isn’t doing very well mentally and is extremely unhappy and I believe her end is very near. Closer than any of us can imagine. I really hope she will be okay ✅ and live for many more years if not decades. She will turn 62 years old this year. Please keep her in all your thoughts 💭 and prayers.

Death is the thing I fear the most but it’s also the subject I’m most interested in and get hooked on watching these kinds of videos and giving myself an existential crisis 😂

It’s not death itself that I’m concerned about. It’s how I die that I’m concerned about. I don’t want to suffer. Edit- I’m not a religious person; the reason being is in the replies to my comment. All it does is cause war & arguments.

My sister died of cancer at 5 months old, and her ashes were kept in the loft for a while. A tree my parents were gifted at her birth was dying, so my dad dug it up and poured her ashes into the hole. He replanted the tree and within two days it was already healthy again.

I am not afraid to die. Life is a cycle that you see repeating itself. When you are dying, you begin to let this world go and see peace in the other. You won’t feel it when you die. Your body will begin to shut down the way it’s supposed to. Death is a part of life. I want people to be happy for me. It seems that people who are afraid of dying are those who have never lived.

My brother died unexpectedly at age 45. Seems unreal. I still have my phone with our last conversation on it.

When my wife died after 20 years of marriage I took some of her ashes and had them mixed into the ink for a tattoo in her memory, that way she will always be with me. With my nephew he had a fascination with sharks so when he died we took his ashes and mixed them into a concrete shark, we placed it 5 miles off the coast of Florida where we live and thanks to GPS we go and visit him every year.
