Being ruthless and having relatives killed is pretty standard stuff for royalty throughout history - Cleopatra is just one of many who've done whatever it takes to reach, and then stay, at the top.

FINALLY A INFOGRAPHICS SHOW EPISODE NOT ABOUT RUSSIA, CHINA, OR WORLD WAR 3! What happened to the Challenge Guy?! The Random facts about human anatomy? CreepyPastas? Ancient History lessons? Tech news? I'm Happy to see Infographics cover the Ukraine Russia conflict, but I loved Infographics BECAUSE it had a wide variety of subjects. I miss that. Will that ever come back?

Cleopatra was a scapegoat slandered by Caesar Augustus. She had the same faults common among monarchs during antiquity, but she was far more intelligent and far less evil than most modern sources might claim. She was a shrewd woman who survived and thrived in a time period when it was almost impossible for women to hold positions of power.

There’s some things that make Cleopatra stand out from all the rest. She’s beyond everything everyone would ever assume about her. She may have held power and authority during her time, however her complex nature is the driving force behind every thing she’s ever known for.

You do realize she was Queen of Egypt. It was normal for Royalty to be seen as Gods, particularly in Egypt. Most of her history was written by people who had reason to make her look bad. Also, you can't just drop a pearl in vinegar and then drink it. At the very least it would take 24 hours to dissolve or to boil the vinegar.

That checklist they did toward the end would apply to most rulers of that time and almost every politician today so I wouldn't be so quick to act like she's not on par with the rest
