Are you presenting together with somebody? It's excellent for participants to be able to see the both speakers in a duo, co-presenting, moderating the discussion, interpreting in the sign language or in other languages for the audience?

With Google meet you can pair tiles and have a dynamic experience in the meeting.

Start on your right from the people 's icon and beside the name of the participant click: ask to pair. A sign is appearing to show the paired tiles.

When at least one of the paired presenters is speaking both tiles are outlined in blue. Live captions are also included.

You cannot record the paired view on camera. Pairing is not available in breakout rooms.

So for best collaborative presentations, discussions, or classes use the pair tiles feature. It is an Accessibility feature.

This video is from series of live streamed interviews, event highlights and best practice content creation tips. It is an experiential learning how to elaborate digital communication skills for personal professional online identity and brand awareness to make the internet a more relevant and user friendly space.

The point is seeing two Speakers together at the same time. It's up to the users to figure out in which situation this feature will be useful. An example would be two Sports commenters analyzing a sports event.
