In order to control other computers from my 7 machine would I need to enable settings on the 7 machine, or is that only for that machine to be accessed?

When making an RDP connection, are there any limitations concerning the Windows versions on the client and host machines? If I upgrade my machine to Windows 11, will it still be able to access remotely the desktop of a Windows 10 machine?
