How to EASILY Set Up Remote Desktop on Windows 10/11

Posting this as a fresh comment since a lot of people are asking a similar question here is what i needed to do to fix credential problem. I had a pin to sign into the pc and this is not what it wants you need to CHANGE it and set up a password if you use a pin because there is no password yet in this case, mine had never been set up, i googled how to do this, its under windows settings. Then the default user name that it implied for me was my Microsoft account, this is not what it wants. It wants the user name that it says at your windows login screen when it asks you for the password that you just set up. THEN the computers may not be able to be logged into the same Microsoft account (this is not windows account this is your separate Microsoft account) so you need to set one of the computers( i would try each one) to "local" mode, i had to google this. Now it works for me.

Worth noting you cant do this on Windows Home version. All depends on what you have

I dont have a password setup on the remote machine because I use autologin. Remote Desktop wont work unless I enter a password, which I do not have.

On sign in information - the password etc is that of the PC that i'm remoting into correct?
I put in my credentials and it says incorrect password so i'm lost even though I know the right password

it's not working. followed every step and nothing works it's always an error that says that there's no computer with the said name etc

your computer could not connect to another console session on the remote computer because you already have a session in progress

For some reason it is saying i cant log in. I have the right usernam and password but i am still not abel to accses the computer. Any ideas on what i could try to fix this problem?
