Here's our list of the top 12 project management jargon terms. We've based this list on the most viewed videos in our Project Management in Under 5 Minutes series:

Among this list, are the terms project managers use most often. And, if you are going to manage projects, I'd certainly say these are among the most important project management terms for you to know.

The terms I'll describe in this video are:

1. Scope
2. Critical Path Method
3. PERT Chart
4. Stakeholder Management
5. Kanban
6. Work Breakdown Structure
7. RACI Chart
8. Project Governance
9. Milestone Planning
10. Iron Triangle
11. PMO
12. Gantt Chart

And, why not look at our low price 'Project Manager's Starter Kit', which includes our short video program: 'Project Management Fundamentals', our full set of over 80 videos of short project management term definitions, and, of course, the 'Decode the Jargon' eBook.

After more than 80 videos describing Project Management terminology, I decided to see which are the most popular videos. It's a snapshot, of course. Maybe I should re-do this in a year or so!

Thanks for this.
I changed careers from Pilot, to PM. (Due to reasons of war and instabilities in my region).
Moved to Africa and took on Agricultural and Architectural Development projects. (Mainly in the rurals).

I only was in the right place at the right time, that gave me the opportunity to start. Then used my common sense to lead and manage the projects in hand with an International Company.

So you're helping me with my inferiority complex (if you may), and I'm thankful for your contributions in the domain of knowledge related to projects.

Thanks very much Mr. Clayton, sir.

Hello Online PM course, I absolutely get enlightened by your content and enjoy the delivery.

Please can you look into the audio output; the audio is often low and I am unable to clearly pick what you say, would appreciate if this can be looked into, as sometimes I am only able to do audio only.

Once more many thanks on your amazing detailed contents.

I'm curious... What do you think of the notion that the preference for PERT or CP is based mainly on whether your organization likes to Whiteboard or uses Software?
