I told my recruiter I had broken my collarbone. And we couldn't get a waiver in time. So he was like "what collarbone?"🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️

I am meeting with my Recruiter tomorrow! It is gonna be a 2 1/2 hour drive, but it will be worth it!
Just remember everyone - you can do anything you set your mind to!

My recruiter took my ASVAB results and just showed me my options and the pros and cons of each

DEFINITELY do your research first. See, my brother went in straight out of High School. No research was done by him. He ended up as 11 bang bang and hated it to the point where he was trying to convince me to NOT join when I had already done over half a year of research. I knew what I wanted.

Told my recruiter about my hearing problems, and he was just like "Nah it's just the machines you'll be fine."

I passed MEPS but they caught it in Benning and sent me home.

Such is life.

I went to boot camp healthy 6’ 150lbs expecting to put on some muscle. NOPE!! My senior DI didn’t believe in double rations. I ended up graduating at 130lbs and looked like a skeleton but hey at least I could run far and fast.

I know this channel is for future soldiers but as a mother of an only child that has decided to join. I need to know how I’m supposed to help him when I’m having a hard time knowing he is leaving soon and he has never been away from me! (My fault because his older brother died at age of 11. So as a over protective mother I have held him close to me.) I just don’t want to upset him by showing my feelings in my letters to him when he is at boot camp! I just don’t want to cause him more problems. Thank you for all the videos it has helped me to sorta understand what he might go through. I just want to be his biggest fan and support but I don’t want him to worry about me worrying about him. And when I write I tend to put my feelings out there. Don’t get me wrong I want him to be the man God created him to be and I know he is very devoted to what he has chosen to do! He has wanted this ever since he was 5 years old! He hasn’t changed He has always told me this is what he wanted to do. He will leave in August. Thank you for all the helpful videos it’s a blessing thank you
