The only one that bothered me was..."I'm so glad it's you and not me"   Not nice !

Actually, some of these comments I made to myself when I was doing chemo! Like the part about not coloring your hair anymore. When it was growing out and I had a silver buzz cut, I never got so many compliments! I have not colored it in two years now and I love the color. Thinking of cutting it very short again too.

I can't believe someone would say I'm glad it's you and not me😖, but then again nothing surprises me anymore. I don't mind people asking me about it as long as the questions aren't nasty or rude. I've had people that never had cancer tell me what to do after my diagnosis and chemo ad far as surgery. Some said to just get a lumpectomy, but my tumor was big. I had chemo then right modified radical mastectomy with axillary node dissection.
