Fair to say that this pelican bit off more than it could chew.

Pelicans, storks and petrels have to be some of the most brutal creatures that arent massive

6:10
There's quite a few animals that can ask for help, a lot of them are sea creatures that have hooks in them.
There's actually a lady that lives in either Florida or California that dives daily & is seen as a cleaner specialized in hook removal by the local sharks, there are sharks that rarely are in the area that find her to get rid of a hook in them.

Funfact: people used to think these brown fluffy penguin chicklets where a totally different species they called wooly penguins!

As much as I feel bad for this pelican, you gotta admit that turtle was a legend for not going down without a fight.

the red velvet ant is the one referred to as "cow killers" and they aren't actually ants, they are wingless ground wasps. also the 3rd most painful sting on earth.

Fun fact. I actually know a man who was instrumental in the saving of the Condors. His name is Jack Miller and he did a TON of work back in the day to save the Condors including habitat preservation and awareness campaigns. The man's a legend.

I can confirm that snapping turtles CAN bite through a broomstick, like it wasn’t even their actually! I tried to remove a hook from one’s mouth with the handle of a shovel. I wasn’t putting my hand anywhere near that thing. The second the handle touched it’s mouth, it was nothing but splinters

Fun animal fact: The average giraffe sleeps for 4.6 hours per day. For the most part, giraffes tend to sleep during the night, although they do get in some quick naps throughout the day. Giraffes can sleep standing up as well as lying down, and their sleep cycles are quite short, lasting 35 minutes or shorter

“Some turtles can allegedly bite through a broomstick”
As someone that has grown up around alligator snapping turtles, I can confirm that they could definitely bite through a broomstick

I can not grasp how funny and witty this guy is. Every video has me learning and laughing. He is a true artist. The definition of naturally gifted.

I may like birds, even pelicans, but knowing actually when pelicans are capable of and how void their moral compasses are, I honestly know for a fact the pelican had it coming. Sure the turtle was probably just as mean, but the pelican clearly was the instigator due to the fact it was its gullar pouch and not it's feet or something.

I love his "The Ants: Underground Kingdom" promos, not because I particularly like the game, but that means I get to hear ant facts, and I love that, they're so fascinating!

Ants are such underrated creatures. Their hierarchies and structures are so interesting, there is basically GoT type of plot going on below our feet everyday and we don't even notice.

I used to keep ant colonies when I was younger, can recommend it to everyone, real neat pets to watch grow

1:09 reminds me of a story from my sister. She worked in the penguin exhibit many years ago and got an angry written complaint from some Karen saying they poorly treated their penguins because their fur was like that. lol. I hope your videos get more views so people can be more well-informed about the animals they see!

I have actually seen/caught a fish with crab arms sticking out of its belly. The fish ate it, crab fought back but for inside and POP! Claws are now on the outside. It was weird
