It's Africa, everything is matte black here. We aren't robots 😂

The matte black finish means you just haven't unlocked that bug yet.

If robots move like that, we all will be jobless

Anyone watching, dont grab random insects in tropical or hot regions you might regret it and end up in a hospital or dead

If that’s a drone, then those leg movements are overkill

I study bugs and that looks real to me. not exactly sure of the species, I'm not too familiar with african bugs, but I can see a lot of accurate and small details of the anatomy. and ofc the way it moves it too realistic to be fake in my opinion

edit: there are 110, 000 fly species and 5.5 million insect species, just because I don't know every single exact insect species doesn't mean I'm a fake. stop talking shit when you yourself don't know shit

also, some kind and respectful person in the comments pointed out the species is Cuterbra ruficrus

If the government really was spying on us with bugs, they would hide it.
For example:
Guy: “look at this spy bug, I’m gonna record it!”
Phone: “you’re out of storage”
That’s what the government would really do if they were deploying these lol

That is a large species of Bot Fly. They leave maggots under the skin on mammals that pop out when mature.

When I was in the Army, we were in the field and 4 of us was sitting on a log eating our MRE’s. Out of nowhere a hornet flew up, eye level and stopped like a helicopter. Flying perfectly still looking at the guy on the end of the log right in the eyes. It literally makes a 45 degree turn, then flies forward, then stops, then makes another 45 degree turn and looked into the 2nd guy’s eyes. I wondered if it was going to keep going and it did! It made another 45 degree turn and flew forward and then another 45 degree turn and looked at the 3rd guy right in the eyes. I was wondering and hoping it would do it to me! I was the last guy on the end. And it did! It made that 45 degree turn, flew forward and then made another 45 degree turn and it was looking at me right between the eyes at eye level! Then it just flew away! This was in 1992, but we were all discussing whether or not that was a robot because of how perfect it moved. The turns were 100% precise. And the way it turned and flew forward and looked at every person on the log and looked us each in the EYES! Felt intelligent quite far beyond anything we’d ever heard of any insect having. Either way it was a super cool experience
