i would recommend fan headphones! they’re basically fans that look like headphones and hang around your neck. there’s a ton of different kinds on amazon and stores like walmart or target. they’re super handy and compact. they’re actually pretty strong too!

At night I use a spray bottle with water and spray my pajamas and skin to where Im moderately damp then put the fan on. This keeps you cool for several hours. When warm... repeat as needed.

Yeah in South Texas the middle of summer even at night you would croak in that van. With 100 weather plus 80% humidy. No amount of cooling towels and cross breeze would help, it will feel like a constant shower of sweat. Ask me how I know.

I lived in my van for 6 months with my parrot (he loved it), during a suuuper hot summer...
A small fan, trees, and a lot of 💦 water kept me alive.... but those 95°- 100° days were hard.
Parrot didn't care one bit 😂...

I've slept in my car during the summer in GA before on camping trips- park in the shade. Biggest thing you can do. Keeping the sun off keeps the inside air temp dramatically cooler.
