my grandpa used to splash well water on the door and window curtains as it dries during afternoons, we had lots of trees too so it was cool

All depends on existing humidity. If it's dry where you live, then this is a cheap swamp cooler/evaporative cooler. If it is humid then it simply won't work for you.

I tried this as my cooler stopped working and it was much cooler.. the temperature outside is 38 degrees.. it’s really helpful.. I’m doing it with my window curtains and it really works.. can sleep peacefully in Cool weather now.. thanks man!!!
