All these years and the fist thing I noticed is Gibson and Eppiphone have totally different headstocks. WTF? How did I not notice that decades ago?!

Actually a useful video! Thanks. The tonal differences are very subtle (at least in compressed audio) - from this demo I'd go for the Epi - in fact I did some time ago, love the guitar and so saved a lot of money. A lot of the money for the Gibson is for quality control.

I expected to find the gibson pickups to be a lot more bright. That was correct, but I liked the epiphone probuckers as well very much!

Epi sounds a lot better in some positions especially for the 4000 dollar price difference adjust the amps and with the right pedals i would buy the epiphone !
