Easy Mashed Potatoes Recipe Easy Thanksgiving Side Dish Series
Fool Proof Mashed Potatoes
3 lbs of russet potatoes, peeled and cubed
1/2 stick of butter
1/2 cup of heavy cream
4 cloves of garlic, minced
Salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder
Top with chives + butter
Peel and cube your potatoes into 1 inch cubes so they cook faster and all the way through. Cook for 30 minutes in boiling salted water. Drain. Melt butter and sauté garlic. Add potatoes back in and pour in heavy cream. Season to your liking and mash. Top with chives and butter. Enjoy!
