Will I feel normal again after menopause?

When your menopause symptoms feel like they are overwhelming you both physically and emotionally, it is hard to remember that this is just a phase and it will end.

I get so many women contacting me worried that they will never feel normal again, so to help you see the positives to come, this week on A.Vogel Talks Menopause I thought I would take a look at how you can feel after the menopause and how to know when you are considered to be post-menopausal.

I am in the harder stages of perimenopause. Lots of anxiety and low mood. Hot flashes and being just fearful of a lot of things. I have a fear that I'll never feel normal again. I've never dealt with anxiety or fears before until all of this started. And I just wish you would go away

After menopause there is hope, light good health and bright future. After darkness there is dawn.

I am so grateful for your advice. It has helped me more than you'll ever know.
It's been over 2 yrs without a flow/period. I'm through menopause, I think;) My 2 sons are raised n are on their own.
Best of all our sex life has been "Resurrected:)" I never thought sex could be this good at 53!!! Which has made our marriage relationship so much more amazing n enjoyable. We are living are best lives now. Thanks be to God 🙌

Your information is so vital, I basically learned from your videos, through watching your videos I changed my diet and I feel much-much better, indeed diet matters alot. Thank you so much all the way from Namibia.

I'm 2.5 years post and symptoms ebb and flow, never seeming to completely stop. Doctors say I'm fine but most tests are superficial anyways. I've been very industrious about my diet and life but still can't seem to settle. I recently learned there is a resurgence of symptoms at this 2 yr post meno mark. Sure hope it passes!

I know that this is a older video so I hope that you see my comment. Thank you! I have felt so ill and started feeling hopeless. Someone jokingly said that it is all downhill from here and expect to feel this way from here on. I can't imagine that because sometimes I can barely function. Thank you for offering some hope.❤

I had a surprise baby at 42 and just stopped getting my period at 48 . No sign of pre menopause. Nothing I feel amazing . I just jumped right into menopause . my MD said being I had a child late in life . I feel better now then I have in all the years of my life .I just get the menopause nausea here and there . Praise be to the Lord.❤

The reward of passing youth down to the young is wisdom. This is a good season for women to develop knowledge on health, particularly in a culture where mainstream medicine is male-led, and become a resource of that. Thank you for this video.

I’m 47 years old and went through a really rough premenopausal nightmare but this is the second time I haven’t gotten my period for six months. All of a sudden I am so mellow and it feels so good. Still have symptoms in the body but nothing like it was. I’m hoping I go on my next six months without having a period.
I regularly had a period twice a month for 10 years and the only thing that regulated my body was having a child. I had my kid at 33 and I don’t think too many years after that I started premenopausal symptoms and didn’t know.
Definitely some intense rage and makes you feel like you need a straight jacket. Really hurts when you’re pushing everybody around you away and it just makes you feel like crap. You get in trouble at work.
This is very miserable ladies!!!

Been going through this for about 1 year now.... Been the worst year of my life! It started with severe panic attacks then not feeling myself. Then low confidence i noticed. Crying every single day. Feeling quite alone and very sad. I go out alone to try and break up my day.
I have other health issues too. Not having my son and daughter around is hard due to divorce. Now getting bad allergies and heightened sense of smell. I brought in 2024 thinking i would try and get better but unfortunately i am feeling so low and depressed and i have to admit some days i don't want to be here anynore because I'm feeling so unwell since having the menopause.
