It's too bad their times were over 30 years apart. If K2 had survives to the final movies I could definitely see him paired with BB-8.

As someone who detests all the other Disney Star Wars movies, Rogue One managed to have my favorite Darth Vader scene and the funniest moment of the whole franchise, i.e. this one.
