My Awful Air India Business class experience Nov 2022.

Business class flight from Vancouver to Delhi.
grimy surfaces, old and worn out seats. In my case the controls to make the seat recline did not function properly and it took a long time to either recline or erect the seat. media remote was split in half and had to be held together to work. The actual media content, such as movies and TV shows was very poor. overall very poor value for the $5000 price they charge.

This is when air India was under govt. now it got privatized soon there will be a big change in air India.

I had to travle with my 1 year old this year it was most discusting and most hated flight i took in my life.Only saw the flight attendant when they were serving food most of time they sitting in the back and talking to each other 2 bathrooms on my side was broken the minute flight took off the tv fell on my hand and it took 1 hr for the flight attendant to come and sticked a tape on it. I asked for my son some baby food i requested specifically before booking ticket but never got. It was worst 14 hr flight in my life . Never iam flying on air india again.

Travelled last month. It's more worse. Half of the seats don't turn to lie flat. I was asked to switch seats to have my meals as the folding table could not extend 😢

Thank you for the update, Imagine if Air India shuts some of the aircrafts then we can expect the demand grows more with fares and thats what happened because of GOAIR, Its been over an ever since Tata's took over and they even ordered new Aircrafts. So lets hope things get better in time. But yes the only reason many travel in AIr India is because of good food and spacious seating

In addition to this the remote for the media literally split into 2 as soon as i picked ut up. The overall level of cleanliness was also poor.

Air India Is Changed Now! its better, I flew recently from Delhi to Paris in Business class, I was impressed

Give them some time to change they had recently been aquired by tata and are working to turn things around...you can't just change the entire fleet of airline while being in a loss they will work to change the interior in 1-2 years
