The look on the Deuce's face...how it went from Cheshire grin to almost rage...when he was told he's "the second", was one of the finest scenes in the entire movie. You can feel his rage just from this one expression. Brilliant!

The subtle acting after "You're Henry Ford the Second" is incredible. Not just on Tracy Letts (Actor playing Ford) but also on Josh Lucas (Actor playing Leo Beebe). Leo knew that was EXACTLY the line Ford would not take as a joke.

I took this scene for granted. Especially later in the movie where he cried about his father not seeing what he built, not sitting in a car he had made to feel the power and speed of his son's race car.

Calling a man a lesser son of greater forefathers is a truly appalling insult. Ford was well within his rights as a man to commit his resources to giving Ferraris ego a bit of a stomping.

Love this scene because it is authentic if not realistic. In reality Iacocca came back from Italy livid. In a meeting with the Deuce after this he was basically interviewing for his job. Rumor has it he just told the deuce that he is the 2nd and not the original. Turned that into a plan to introduce the new mustang and the racing project. Iacocca was a genius. He pioneered the muscle cars in the 60s and the SUV in the 80s. The man had a larger impact on the auto industry than anyone else in history.
