However, most of the time, these relationships can be saved if only people tried to work on them harder. 1. You two have done this before. It can happen that couples are used to breaking up and making up many times again, so if you have broken up now, it can happen that you two will go back together as before. If this is the case, then you probably don’t even have to do anything to get your ex back.
2. You two broke up in the heat of the moment. Similar to the first point but if this is your first time breaking up, try to evaluate the situation in which the relationship ended.
3. Your ex told you they only needed some time to think. Sometimes people need some time off to think but that does not mean that they want a permanent breakup.
4. You two were good together. If your ex and you had a good relationship, then there is a good chance they will start missing you soon and come back.
5. They insist on staying in touch. If your ex wants to stay in touch with you or with your friends and family, that is a good sign. This may mean that they are considering coming back to you at one point, so they don’t want to break all the ties that connect them to you.
6. Your ex still loves you. This may sound obvious to you, but it isn’t easy figuring out if your ex still has feelings for you or not. And sometimes, even if they do, they might not come back anyway. So, talk to your mutual or ask someone who knows your ex for an opinion. If you find out that they still love you, you can reach out and try to fix things.
7. Your ex opens up to you easily. Now that you had contacted them and you two started talking again see the way they communicate with you. If your ex feels like they can speak to you freely and about everything, it means they haven’t lost the connection you two shared and that they still trust you.
8. When the two of you understand what lead to the breakup and how it can be fixed is when you can say with absolute certainty that your ex will come back to you.

High schooler here, but today I was told by my boyfriend that he couldn’t continue in the relationship any longer because it just brought him extra stress and he was already having trouble in school. I just talked to his friend and we prayed over him so he would feel better, luckily I’m not the type of person that gets mad over things like this, but I’ll just silently deal with it. Does anyone have ideas on what to do next? Because he told me he would be ready in a couple months after he gets everything sorted out, for now unfortunately we’re just friends and I’m trying to cope with not being able to tell him how I truly feel about him when I’m trying to really help him.
