60Hz vs 120Hz:What is the Refresh Rate?

preview_player
Показать описание
A TV's refresh rate is how many times the screen refreshes itself every second. It's different from frames per second (fps), which defines how many frames the video source displays every second. The refresh rate is important for motion handling, as a higher refresh rate generally results in smoother motion, but it's not always the case. It's also important to not get confused with marketing terms that often inflate the refresh rate.

This video explains the differences between a 60Hz and 120Hz refresh rate, how it affects the image, and how companies will try to trick you into thinking the TV has a higher refresh rate than it actually has.

I hate 120hz movies. Like fast forward.

I love watching at 60hz better. Less eyes restraint and natural movement.

But as for gaming people, 120hz is way better because it respond faster and better.

I recently purchased a Samsung Q60B to replace my Vizio P55-F1. The Vizio is 120hz and the Samsung is 60hz. Will I see a difference?

Audio must be stolen from somewhere. So many cuts in it. Hard to follow.

I recommend 120Hz for smoother motions.

Hello, please answer my question. My TV is Samsung Q60 A. Its features are 60Hz frame rate, HDMI 2.0 cable and 4K. With these features, can I get a PS5 or should I ban it because I can't pay for a TV anymore? Does this mean that bugs and consoles run on this TV without any problems?

Just get a human to narrate the video. There are still humans.

Hi!

I have a Sony X94J 65" 4K 120 hz TV and a Panasonic JX810 58" 4K 60 hz TV.

When I watch sports on cable channels or movies on streaming services, I cannot see a noticeable difference between my TV's when it comes to motion clarity or the picture quality.

Is 4K 120 hz meant only for serious video gaming like for Xbox Series and PS5?

Greetings from 🇫🇮😊

Is the 60Hz enough for watching TV and TV series/movies. I've never played games on TV!!!

Does sky and Netflix broadcast more than 60hz

Bottom line: 60 is fine. Unless you're looking at tanlines.
