Thanks for getting back to me.  Yes, Hangouts is confusing. I figure that if I find it confusing, nearly all of my guests will find it impossible.  I'm testing out webinar jam tomorrow morning and will get a better idea of what the guest presenters will be experiencing.  I'm hoping that they will not experience any of the Hangout complexity.  I was also thinking about working with tech support at Webinar Jam and see if they can do a webinar with me as a guest presenter at which time I can record my own experience.  I'll let you know.  Come to think of it, you and I could do that and it could be a good video for you.

I'm doing it this morning at 9:00 am PST.  One of the first issues is that one of my guests has a google apps account using a private domain, not a "gmail.com" domain. WebinarJam makes it clear that I, as the administrator, must use the "gmail.com" domain in the email that I use in setting up the webinar, (I use my own domain for Google Apps, but I also have a "gmail.com" email that I used to set up the webinar".  WebinarJam says that if you use your own domain email as the administrator, the other presenters must also use the same domain extension. I am also going to set up a gmail.com address for the guest in case his domain extension does not work.

Hi Steve great presentation and lots of learning about Webinar. My question to you; what kind of software, equipments do you use to record you? It sounds very professional. My understanding is, that webinar is only the platform to give the webinar, but before you have to record the content. Where does it happend and with want kind of tools? thx for your suggetions Daniela

I have just discovered webinars onair which is very similar to webinarjam and is only 20 dollars a month at a base package it is a definite candidate for great webinar software

Great tutorial Steve. How did you do that with your computer screen behind you while you sat in front of the green screen?

I am an avid watcher of your videos and you do a great job.  I am very interested in Webinar Jam and have been experimenting with live webinars with Hangouts for over a year.  The greatest impediment that I have with Hangouts is that my guests are often CEO types who are usually not very computer literate.  Getting them to comfortably be presenters with Google Hangouts has been a nightmare.  What I haven't seen from Webinar Jam is any reference to the guest presenter experience.  What is it that they go through and the steps necessary for them to participate.  I would like to know more about this so that I can smooth the process.  What are your thoughts?

This looks pretty amazing :) Mike Filsaime and Andy Jenkins are behind it so that isn't really a surprise there. I should really keep this tool in mind. Too bad you have to pay for a year up front, that makes it really steep to get in.

Can you fully customize all the e-mails that they send out? I'm wondering if I could easily use it on the German market when my time is coming. :) They finally allowed Google Hangouts on Air and Broadcasts here as well.

I notice a delay in video/audio when you go into the webinar demo, which I recall being a Hangouts thing. I'd be using Power point rather than video anyway, but just curious. Thanks
