High levels of knee pain? 😞

One of the best ways to manage pain is actually to find ways to move your joint ✅

Movement can help to prevent the knee from stiffening up. It can also help to prevent your muscles from tightening up too.

Even the simplest movements can help to reduce knee pain. The key, is finding movements that actually feel good 👏🏼

I know movement may not always be top of mind, especially when in pain, but limiting all movement can actually make the pain worse 😵‍💫

Not all movement is created equally though. If something makes your pain worse- odds are it’s not a movement your joint is ready for at that time 📈

8-15 repetitions on the painful side can be a good place to start for most people but increase or decrease based on how it feels ⚠️

I love this! I went to my first PT session today. The movements they had me do were intense for a first time, I thought. Bcz when I was done, my knees hurt, even tho I wasn't there for that, and my entire legs ached and hurt the whole rest of my day. I took 600mg of ibuprofen after I got home, but it didn't even take the edge off. I had to wait till the evening to take another dose. Then I took 800 MG. They put me on a leg machine at 30 lbs for a single leg at a time. 40 reps each. Pushing up on each side then down on each side. I've got tendenosis in both hips and a tear. That was not helpful in my opinion. 🙄 I did make the guy instructing me move it down to 12.5lbs. I still hurt all day. I went with my hubby to the store 4 hours later, I had to hold onto the cart. As we left the store, I lost my balance and almost fell. That has never happened before to me. The PT manager told me I should be able to do 30 lbs. 😐 Why would I if I've never done it before?? 🤦‍♀️ I can see working up to it.

I did this a lot when I was waiting for my knee replacement 14 years ago. I couldn’t sit in the bus with a bent knee for long I’d slide it forward then it would feel sore and stiff so slide it back so did this every couple minutes for the 15/20 minute bus journey.

My knee sticks when I use it 3-4 times a week. What can I do to help? I excercise regularly but just not sure if there is some trick you have to help with this issue. My doctors says “your knee will not stay stuck, just force it to unstick, when you can’t bend your knee come back”

My knee pain went away after I went on the carnivore regimen. And all my bones got stronger as well.
