I recently put down my black labrador retriever(15yo). Whenever we went hunting ducks he would break the ice with his paws to get the duck. best dog ever. He learned how to pheasant hunt and was the best bud I could ask for. The one problem with dogs is that I just wish they lived longer. :)

There are no best hunting dogs!!! Different dogs for different jobs. Some people love to shoot so a retrieve/point is best for them, some people enjoy ratting so a terrier is best for them. All this Dogo talk is crazy 80% of dogos haven't had a working line for decades..

I think u included mostly those breeds which are retrievers but not included those breeds which are used to fight and kill the prey, these are the breeds almost every breed in the list are used as bring the hunted prey to their owners or guard the prey untill their owner didn't come. Pls make another video where u include those breeds which are used to fight in groups and hunt down large preys like boars, bull, puma, bear etc. Thanks for making such an important video.❤️❤️❤️🔥🔥😘😍

It depends what you are hunting. Try to hunt lions or African big game with a Labrador. What if you are hunting wild boar or red deer? Most of the listed breeds are gun dogs. Another problem with these kind of lists, is that you always forget many less known breeds (or you don’t even know they exist) that are usually better in their roles because they were continuously bred for a “job” and not for the show ring. By the way, one of the best gun dogs for bird hunting is the Epagneul Breton (Brittany spaniel). 😉
