Installing & Using the NEW CurseForge | Overwolf Curseforge

Seen that Minecraft Modpacks are moving away from Twitch to their own CurseForge launcher from Overwolf? Well, this guide shows you everything you need to know to install and use the new launcher -- This one doesn't need you to sign in first. Awesome. ty this is the only video that goes in depth of where the files are loceted and where their sent to.... i accidently deleted twitch so it wasnt connected with minecraft and it wouldnt let me play, i had to track down the files on my one drive and move them back to be able to play again

This curseforge thing is so unstable. Twitch did it so much better, I don't know why they had to move into curseforge for modding. Absolutely outraging.

when I try to install it it says "Oh Ohhh... We have encounterd a problem during the installation. Please close the installer and try again" but when I try again the exact thing happends. pleas help

In the video at 3:04 you mention "You can of course uninstall Overwolf", ... well, yes you can, but it takes the curseforge app with it. Its not standalone like it should be from the get go, and I am not happy with this development. You are stuck with the Overwolf adware and bloatware whether you want it or not. Overwolf says its impossible to decouple the two, they're just unwilling to because they want their adware running at all times.

Everytime I download the thing and I let it make changes to my pc it just kind of deletes itself and nothing pops up, any ideas

Works for me but why doing it in freaking a different apps ? So to launch a modpack I need to have overwolf, curseforge and minecraft running ? That's dumb as fuck

Seems like every other day they give you some extra app to install instead of sticking with the original that would be so much simpler and space efficient 💀 im gonna have lots of fun figuring out why the mods won’t launch minecraft on my mac 👌
