LO 4.4 – Describe the neural mechanisms that control breathing

Besides the fact that he has perfected his knowledge in this area, his method, voice, and body mechanics make comprehending, . attention, and retention about as good as is possible. And I say this as someone whose battled ADHD for nearly 60 years. He's a Champ!

In the last minutes Dr.Mike referes to an increased concentration in hydrogen ions what could trigger the respiratory center in the brain. Later he says a decreased concentration would be the trigger. Where can I find more details about this influence of hydrogen ion concentration in the blood as a trigger for the respiratory system?🤔
