I never knew binaries can be this easy to figure out! I really liked the car's speedometer explanation.

I failed first test on this subject in my University, because my teacher is boring, old and not consistent. After I watched this video, I fall in love with all this stuff about algorithms, and I totally addicted to those videos. Thank you very much!

Richard, you are a great teacher. The way you tell is very inspiring.

Please record and upload more courses.

54:50  "So logarithmic is slightly worse than linear time"
Umm....no? logarithmic is far superior to linear!

First thing is you only gotta check up to the square root of the number, secondly by automatically eliminating those that are a factor of a small hardcoded set of prime numbers (e.g. first 100) you can greatly improve performance time.

Does anyone have anymore material that I can read or watch about what was going on information and how algorithms depend on it. I quite confused. Great lecture, just that this isnt my field and I am very new to this.

Ha! 10:10 is my favorite time because 1010 base 2 is 10 base 10. It's so funny that I'm not alone in my weirdness. :P

27:20 To the left. What's he doing on facebook? Not learning? :P
Also, Richard + Bucky would be an awesome combination.

The class is excellent but his sloppiness on the board makes me anxious.

Crazy sorting is randomly rearranging items until they are right. like a rubik's cube if you don't know how to us a rubik's cube.
