Weird Little Ace Hardware Socket Set Review

I thought this was such a weird set to have 3 little sockets in it's own packaging i think for set building but it is just strange.

*One man's amusement, is another man's vital tool* - I buy these. I use them to adjust the legs on new dishwashers for install. The very top of each leg has a stub that can be used to raise, or lower, the leg with one of these small sockets. I actually occasionally lose these tiny sockets and have to buy replacements. I install 7-10 new dishwashers every month in rent houses. Thanks for the video.

Those sizes are/were commonly used on blower motor resistors of Japanese and American vehicles. My 1998 Corolla used a 4.5mm.

For some reason I remember needing a 4.5mm socket for something and actually had one in an old cheap Chinese set I had from when I was a kid. I notice that a lot of SAE wrench and socket sets come with 11/32". Never had a need for that size.

Very true. My smallest metric socket is 5mm; never needed a smaller one. Great review, Ty.

Most of the time you'll find those sizes in electronic repair kits as nut drivers. But I'm sure on occasion there is those times you'll need a ratchet.

i recall using sizes that small in some wall clock and some other odd things that most people would just throw away and not attempt to fix. For sizes like these it really doesnt matter country of origin as long as they fit, due to the low torque.

This guy's reviews always seem very critical of all tools. Spoiler alert. Almost no tools are made in America anymore, especially in the DIY arena. Get over it and use what you can find. Do your research first.
