Great job and now I am to going do it as it would be within my budget. Have an issue. I want the paver walkway to be leveled with the side of the garage driveway. Question: how much thickness allowance should be given to these pads as they are compressible to a certain extent. Thanks.

Hi, thanks for posting this instructional. I just purchased some of these panels from Home Depot. Question: When you lay these panels up against a wall, do you trim the flanges? Or can you butt them straight up against the wall without having to trim them? And if you don't have to trim them, what position should the flanges be in (ie flat against the ground with small gap between paver and panel, or off the ground so that there is no gap between the paver and panel, but small gap between panel and sand) Hope you understand my question..

How would this work installing on a concrete slab?

Do you recommend using a plate Compactor on top of the pavers to help the polymeric sand infiltrate all crevices when using the Brock paver base?

I've seen the weed barrier put directly on top of the ground dirt - before the sand is laid. Which is correct? Before or after the sand?

Wouldnt these prevent proper drainage, therefore resulting in puddling on the pavers?

Laying weed fabric is just going to trap moisture underground that will struggle to evaporate through a dense plastic with barely any holes in it. Use Geogrid rolls instead. They give roots something rigid to attach to and same concept braces multiple areas. No. Do not use weed fabric. Terrible idea.

So how do you tamp these after sweeping in polymeric sand? Will a plate compactor be too much ?
