Good job Lisa!! I helped my parents do our brick patio back in the seventies, its hard work, we went to a demo sight and picked the bricks, loaded them into our station wagon! Good times! Brings back memories! Its beautiful! Love it!!

Wow! Your video was great and honestly made me think about doing this project. I too have wanted the herringbone pattern because it is such a special look, the entire math thing just really threw me for a loop however, so I may have to ask for help on that. You made me laugh as I could see myself in you, wanting everything to be perfect, when everyone around you is telling you "it's fine, looks good" and your mind is going crazy trying to figure out how you are going to perfect it, when no one is looking! My mother had the same "illness, " Lol!! You are blessed with a great husband who gets in there right with you and that truly is a blessing! When my husband and I married, our first Christmas, in our first home, my gifts consisted of a tool belt and tools as I was all in on fixing everything myself, but my husband didn't know how....he does now!

Very nice. I'm planning on doing a 10x12 this weekend for the grill, and the dog's pool. The place where they are now is just on dirt, so it gets real messy when it rains. I think I'll be doing a basketweave pattern.
