Yeah. I've tried this before. However, my time spent with the iPhone 15 Pro Max has pretty much solidified everything I'd been thinking over the last couple years, so here's why I'm leaving the Apple Ecosystem in 2024.

I was so all in on Apple as I thought I just needed a phone that worked, but I realized that I absolutely love having complete control and complete customization for my device. I have my 15 Pro Max on sale and I'm awaiting the S24 Ultra!

I feel the same way. Switched to android a few years ago after years on iPhone and loving every second of it. But Im constantly being pressured to go back to iPhone even though they provide such garbage user experience at every turn. I wish more people would do some critical thinking about the devices they use. I got the 14 last year and returned it after 2 weeks cause it literally was insufferable to use. Stay strong, my Android peeps!!

10:07 you can still see screen time usage per week and per day if you hit the “week” button, scroll down a little until you see side arrows on the top and press the left one to go to the previous week.

From there select select any day you want to see Screen Time usage for that particular day

I started with Android 4.1. I've tried an iPhone about 5 times since that. I have never lasted past two months. They have polish and appeal for sure. And apparently are good with social media and content creation. But those aren't primary uses for me. And I always end up back on an Android. Also my laptop and desktop are running Linux so file sharing is easy.

…I encountered a glitch when adjusting the brightness or volume, the screen brightness flashed quickly, the column I was adjusting also jumped and then stabilized, in a few minutes of adjusting it, it doesn't happen anymore, but if I leave it for more than 5 minutes and then adjust it, the glitch comes back! I encountered it on ios 17.2, and still have it on 17.2.1

I'm noticing a pattern. Just before the S24U is released, he's ditching apple. My prediction is that before the iP16 is released, he'll be ditching android. 😂

We lost the sim card tray in the recent iPhones in the US. I refuse to use iPhones due to this now. I was a die hard Apple fan, but there's no way I can be locked down this hard. If Samsung or Google removes sim card trays I will no longer use their products either.

I'm glad that I wasn't the only one having issues with my iphone 15 pro max. Since it was paid for, I traded it off for a 24 ultra, and I really like way better even tho it some time gets a little glitchy.

With Apple adopting RCS this year, messaging should get better. However, being the only person in my house with a pixel. It sucks to message my parents and siblings. We'll see how the rcs goes.

I hear ya and its tough. I used ro switch every few years and always go back to apple. I got the z fold 5 and love it but i couldn't let go of my iphone due to yes.. my kids have iphone, wife, mom, etc all have iphones and the communication is key.. tracking location for my kids is there, to control screen time. So this time i got both . Kept the z fold 5, traded my 13 pm to samsung, grabed 15 pro amd im loving the best of both worlds. Had to add a line for the fold but if you can can afford to have both android and iphone i'd say do it! After having and using both day to day.. you have options and can enjoy both platforms. I have google calender to sync both, google photos on both so pictures sync between both phones and at this point i will always rock both the fold and iphone. Im not stressed about it anymore and it was the best decision ive made with having both. My wife wasnt happy and thought it was dumb but understood it at the end of the day.. lol

One thing I'm missing is WHY on god's green earth is "I messaging more convenient than a text" it's the same thing. It's a text... A group chat is a group chat no matter what... Right? What are we overlooking about I message that makes it so important that it shatters their brain 🧠 if it went away. This is where I think us chatting would be best cause I don't think I can get my point acrossed...
