2012 was the year that changed my life’s trajectory. My partner had cheated on me the weekend of my birthday, which is the same weekend that hurricane Sandy left us without power for two weeks. I moved in with my sister because I had nowhere to go. I lost all of my friends in the break up. Then, one night after my sister and I made a pact to be healthy and stop drinking for a bit, we broke the pact and went out. She met her partner of many years and I began a 5 year stint of partying and using alcohol as medicine. It became the toxic partner that replaced my ex and I used it to numb my pain. Now I’m 7 years alcohol free and I look back at it as the best worst thing that happened to me. Not one desire to ever drink again. Married to my beautiful wife. Still healing but absolutely ready to accept abundance. I also just got myself out of an extremely toxic work situation, where I thought I could help the family business but was instead gaslit and undervalued. Only up from here.

My gosh Miss MJ, I skipped the last few of your reads because they were ALL hitting so close to home that it seemed I was getting the rug pulled out from under me...this one is no exception. I will be leaving my family home soon where it has been revealed to me my presents is not welcome and never has been for as far back as I can remember and that was approx. at 3 to 4 yrs old. It has since become clear my egg donor would pit my sibling against me to keep him close to her.
Even though it was clear a whole 5 yrs ago i needed to go, I am in the infant stages figuring out my plan to move out and move on in which you have become a very important part in impressing on my brain 'I am not going crazy'.
