I saw my ex while out with friends having dinner. He was at the bar with a friend, I was looking for the bathroom when I ran into him. We hugged and he said, you live in the same place? I said yes but I need to go to the bathroom and walked away. Went back to sit with my table and I could feel his eyes on my back as the bar was behind us. He never came over to talk and actually left when I wasn't paying attention. He knew nothing changed in his life and really knew for the first time, I deserve more, I deserve real love. The Sunday before 9/11 I bought two baskets from a store not that far from the World Trade Center. That Monday it was raining really bad and I said I would return one of the baskets Tuesday morning. Family is still withholding my resources so I am basically tapdancing for resources while networking and recovering from injuries. Doing school work and handling my needs, imploring others to do the same rather than expecting the elites to do it for them.
