I remember once a woman who had a dating profile where she gave this terribly long, outrageous 'grocery list' for what kind of man she wanted. What was MISSING was anything about her. All she had was her demands, and a picture. I wrote her telling her that she has all these expectations, but is not saying a single thing about what's so great about her and why she feels she would deserve this. I told her that if such a SUPERMAN even existed, that she would have to convince such a man that she was worthy of him too. She didn't get it.
When I was dating, I always put up on my profile my character traits and why a woman would want my company, and just a few things I was looking for. Nothing outrageous, just things like drug-free and not a feminist.
And I would be more likely to respond to a profile that mostly talked about what she had to offer rather than what she was demanding.
The former kind of woman comes off as selfish, and the latter one does not. Pay attention, ladies if you are reading this.

There was a story about a woman who was hungry and she was driving around looking for a restaurant. It was late at night and she was starving. She comes across the first restaurant but then drives on because it didn't have something on the menu. She keeps driving and then she finds another place. She didn't like the looks of it, so she moved on. Next place comes along, again, she found something not to her liking. She then passes several restaurants, each finding an imperfection and using it as an excuse not to go there and rejecting them. She then drives on but by this time finds that her hunger is unbearable and is now desperate to eat so she decides that she will now stop and eat at the next place no matter how imperfect it is. After driving a little further, she finally finds a restaurant. Determined to park and go inside to finally eat, she gets out of her car and walks to the entrance. It is dark inside. The front entrance has a huge sign on it. That sign reads ''CLOSED''.

People looking for perfection rarely find it.

Love this; I think lazy thinking is so toxic. Wanting is free but it's toxic when people become disposable because there isn't effort and consideration; there needs to be fuel to want to keep giving, not just a void to fill.

Glad you touched on social media. I think that it has messed up what people want and now it's just about money and materialistic stuff. No one wants emotional connections or open discussions on a potential relationship. It's basically if effort is required go back on the net and find another and another and it just keeps going. Good content and keep up the excellent work. As for me I gave up and contrate on me.

Girls and guys should have minimum standards. I don't like smoking. She might not like sports. Whatever. Has to be some commonality. Also both can have a three strike rule on a date. Not trivial stuff but things like a bad attitude, unhappy disposition, criticising, complaining, etc. Strike three and politely take her home or vice versa, girl ask to be taken home. There's nothing wrong with kindly saying things aren't going to work out. And there's no need to go into great detail with the reasons.

I will delete a woman from texting after a day after getting their number on tinder. NOT ONE has ever reached out first after I deleted the convo. They just have so many options and want something perfect, I work 2 full time jobs and have no kids. I have no issues putting in the world after I see some effort back. But not seeing a single woman reach out after we had a good texting convo is soo deterring. I’m glad that you said what you said in your video so I can stop feeling like I’m not doing my part.

When I was single…way back in the eighties…..we would meet at parties and as young 20 something’s we were all searching for our future. If a girl asked what was your plan for the future and you said “ Well I am in construction”. The response was usually positive because you were a hard working guy. The money issue really not a big issue except for they few gold diggers that after a few years fell on there asses.

This is why many grandparents cannot understand why their grandaughters are not married and their grandsons cannot get a date. Back then, women did not really care for money or status and cared more whether he would be a good father. At this time, blue collar jobs were able to raise a family and buy a family home.

I find you and your advice adorable. Ive been married for more than 37 years. About staying home, when the children were young she did. But then she worked in building a nice career since. For the time being, ones wants can be satisfied in looking for the perfect girl..But building and raising a family over time calls for adaptability from all involved.
