I saw this movie five times already on the big screen. This opening is set on the USS Abraham Lincoln. The fighters are F/A-18 E/F Super Hornets and F-35 Lightings. I like this movie. When Maverick and his Dagger team went on the bombing run, they were launched from the USS Theodore Rosevelt.
