The only guitar solos I've ever played in public was me playing the trumpet solo in "For No One" on acoustic once, and me switching places with my brother Dave (rip) at a party to play "Can't Buy Me Love" while he played bass. Neither was taped. If they were, those would be the worst solos outside of the infamous Complete documentary.

The worst guitar solo is like a platonic ideal. Anyone who has played more than a few gigs is guilty of playing part of it. I saw one of the best guitarists in the world play the same out of tune note repeatedly for a minute like he was trying to punish the audience or something.
