How to plan and then build your very own custom village, town or city in Minecraft! I have made my fair share of villages whilst playing this game so today I will be sharing with you my best tips and tricks for how to do it yourself!

the most important thing to remember about when building a village is: build other buildings than houses, like playgrounds, restaurants, shops etc., stick to your village aesthetics and take care of everything you would eventually need like food, maybe storage house, farms etc.

Love these tips. I think setting out with a good plan before placing a block is a key for larger projects like this. Also just placing one block at a time can really help with big project grind.

Some tip: If your villager wander around too far from the main path, consider using dirt path instead of stone path.

Villager prefer to walk on dirt path instead of others. Additionally, they hate jumping to reach places, so make sure to make a flat path.

I'm currently in the process of buildind a small town, and even though I do have a vision on how it should roughly look like, I don't really mark out anything. The reason is that I don't really know which shape one or the other building would have until I start working on it.
The way I do it is I look for some references and inspirations (already existing builds in the community), take notes of what caught my eye, and then basically try to wing it in a creative copy. Though sometimes I still end up following a tutorial or someone's design entirely. When this happens, I leave a sign and credit the author of the original design. Finally, I take tons of screenshots of what I've made in creative and just copy the build block for block in survival.

Achieving this in survival mode is pretty challenging. But, better with creative mode so we can plan on such design about what material would we use.

Just something that helped me with outlines, try making a locator map to see a bird view of the paths and see if you like the "flow" much love and keep building peeps❤❤
