Jason, thank you so much for the time and thought you put into making this video. I'm often a "quick check only" type when it comes to YouTube videos but this video of yours had my full attention the whole time. I learned so much more than I could have imagined. The idioms at the end...wow!..what an added bonus, and so applicable. This is only my second time tripping across your Channel and that first experience was just as rich (it was on "becoming") You are a phenomenal teacher. Thanks for sharing your talent and passion.💎📕📖🔍👊💗

Great video! I stayed for the full 30 minutes! Very helpful. The reason I watched the entire video is because I have probably spent the last many years trying to read a quick 5 minute article to explain all of this which has been inadequate, and now I feel I have finally solved this for good. Thank you, Professor Jason! 😀

The construction of verbs with conjunctions and prepositions that change the meaning of the verb (an infrequent change in English) makes for enough of a learning curve when studying Spanish. But then there's idomatics that just add fuel to the fire! Oy vai! Thanks for the vid.

Thank you, Professor Jason.  Your explanations and examples are always clear, concise, and informative.  I have been watching your videos a lot, and they are all terrific.  I especially like the one on the various uses of the article SE (I have watched that one about 5 times), and the ones about the past subjunctive.  Matt Gordon

This lesson was great, Jason...thank you so much.
I've been looking for better instruction on these words, and this helped a lot.
I look forward to more from you.

Perhaps soon you could do a lesson on the reflexive verbs, and the use and positioning of the word "se"?
That seems very versatile as well, is used very much in Costa Rica, and still confounds me in everyday communication.

In spain it's more common to only use aca with verbs of movement(ven aca) and aqui for location(estoy aqui)
