Our view of the universe just expanded: The first image from NASA’s new space telescope unveiled Monday is brimming with galaxies and offers the deepest look of the cosmos ever captured.

The first image from the $10 billion James Webb Space Telescope is the farthest humanity has ever seen in both time and distance, closer to the dawn of time and the edge of the universe. That image will be followed Tuesday by the release of four more galactic beauty shots from the telescope’s initial outward gazes.

Phew. Rough presentation tech wise oddly enough. We're looking at galaxies 13 billion years old but still struggle communicating with Australia. 😁

The good news is that none of that really matters, because the images speak for themselves. This is the future humanity wants. We're natural explorers, and we never stop getting better at understanding the universe.

Go HUMANITY!

Question how are you communicating with it millions of miles away in space ... Cause that is the cellphone service I'm looking for ...

Imagine having a limited life span and not being able to find all the universe's secrets? how do you make peace with that ? :O

They shouldn't have done a lensed image for their first big photo. Most people don't understand gravitational lensing and they will just assume that the telescope is no good and not worth its cost.

Just by the observation of the the un-ending number of galaxies in the universe makes our insignificant worries on planet Earth pretty ridiculous we need to come together and wise Up and appreciate all what we have just on this tiny small planet Earth and appreciate all what we have instead of what we want. We are better than what we've become lately.

It is mind blowing ancient images ever captured in histody of space. Cluster of hundred of galaxies of early universe.
We are in age of new astronomy. It opened new window to our universe. It is just beginnin.
Thanks JWST and thanks for NASA, ESA and CSA.
