The big overlooked problem with LG's ProBake convection is that you CANNOT do a traditional bake!! In their oven, the heat source comes exclusively from the rear fan. That's a problem for something like baking a pizza, where it is imperative that the bottom of the pizza gets crispy without over cooking the cheese. In this probake design, the rear half of your pizza will cook faster than the front half... and good luck getting the bottom crispy without browning the cheese.

However, I can see the ProBake being really good for say... Air Frying wings... I would think that the rack position in relation to the fan would be super important to consider when baking.

You keep saying in most of your videos how dependable LG appliances (especially refrigerators) are over other brands. Yet I'm having a hard time squaring that with, for instance, the recent class action lawsuit over LG's linear compressors they use in most of their fridges not lasting anywhere near the 10 year guarantee (more like 2 or sometime less).... I'd love to hear your opinions on stuff like this...

LG has the essence white line which is really sharp. Which you don't mention in the video. We service all our appliances we sell, so that category is equal in my area.

The LG handles look like rose gold. Ironically, that's what I thought the Cafe' hardware looked like, when I saw it in person. Not terrible, but it will not match anything else in your kitchen.

I saw on the news last week that LG is still having issues with the linear compressor they have? Is that true?

Word has it that GE Cafe will be bringing out their line of appliances in Emerald Green some time around 2065. I'll be sure to inform our grandchildren as they will no doubt be interested. In the meantime, if you want Emerald Green, you'll need to settle for the ever-unreliable Samsung.

Given GE’s history, and having owned GE products in the past, I cannot recommend nor will I purchase any GE consumer line of products—no matter what brand name they slap on their appliances. GE’s commercial, industrial, aerospace and military, which are not available to the general public, are very different and fabricated to higher specifications and better to superior quality control. I am impressed with LG’s constant innovation, and question why there is a supposed lack of service available, but somewhat received an answer when my mother’s LG appliance received service tech whom both lied and exhibited nationalism; I simply contacted another tech whose views were not the same and remedied said situation without incident or foolish comments.
