The funny part is the technology is readily available and their initial launch of the ps5 could have had all the features of the pro.

The crime isn't even the $700, its the £700 ($912) they think they can charge for a video game console, in a country wracked with austerity

What working class family these days can afford that kind of cost? Maybe 5-10 years ago this would be doable

Watch the company drop most of the game to 30 fps but if you get the pro the game will be in 60 fps even though it can be done in the previous game

For those who can make a comparison, are there any PCs out now for $700 that can run just as goood or better? Trying to see iotions for those who dont want to build yheir own. And if possible maybe a realistic comparison of those who can buy everything individually+ the cost of having it someone else/company ordered from build it

Literally just buy a pc and double your frame rate. 60 fps is not worth $700+

I think the price is fine if the disc drive and stand were included. I think at the very least without the disc drive you’re just not getting a “Pro” status machine even with its 2TB drive. The specs do suggest it’s a fairly powerful machine. I wouldn’t eb surprised after all this public hate 1 of 2 things occurs. Either Sony includes the disc drive or lowers the price. And I’m sure the plan is to eventually couple the system with GTA6.
